Service scope

Humanitarian aid transport: scope and terms.

Every order is verified individually based on route, dates, cargo parameters and special requirements.

From collection point to recipient

Humanitarian aid usually means time pressure, many donors and a recipient in a difficult place. We support organisers along the whole route: from deciding what and how to pack, through documents, to carriage and confirmation of receipt. We accept enquiries for destinations in Europe and beyond — including Ukraine.

Preparing the transport

  • list of goods, packing and palletisation, pallet labelling;
  • packing lists and documents confirming the purpose of the cargo where the consignee or customs require them;
  • documents required by the destination country and the recipient; customs clearance can be arranged with partner customs agencies;
  • consolidation of donations from several donors at one loading point.

Delivery

  • road carriage in Europe with a vehicle matched to the job, also at short notice — availability is confirmed;
  • destinations outside Europe in cooperation with air and sea partners;
  • ongoing communication in transit and confirmation of handover to the recipient;
  • carriage of temperature-sensitive goods, including medical products, on the terms described on the medical transport page.

Details for an enquiry

  • loading place, destination country and recipient of the aid;
  • type and quantity of goods: number of pallets or pieces, weight, dimensions;
  • date and any time window at the recipient;
  • who is responsible for documents on the sender’s and recipient’s side.

Frequently asked questions

Humanitarian aid transport — questions and answers

General answers. Details of each order are always confirmed individually.

Do you organise aid outside Europe?
Yes, we accept enquiries for destinations worldwide. We organise and coordinate the European road leg and arrange onward legs with air and sea partners. Scope and feasibility are confirmed for each operation.
Do you help prepare the transport, not just carry it?
Yes. We agree with the organiser the list of goods, packing and palletisation, packing lists and the documents required by the destination country. Customs clearance can be arranged with our network of partner customs agencies in Europe — the scope is confirmed for each order.
Which documents are needed?
Usually a packing list with a description and quantities, a transport document (the CMR consignment note in international carriage) and documents confirming the purpose of the cargo where the consignee or the customs authorities of the destination country require them. Before the order we send a list of what must be ready.
What speeds up a quote?
Loading place, destination country and recipient, type and quantity of goods (pallets, weight, dimensions), the date and who is responsible for documents on the recipient’s side. Send the details via the form on this page.
