We organise the road leg of transport after cargo arrives in Frankfurt. Before confirming, we check the terminal, shipment readiness, required documents, the slot and the target delivery time.

Vehicle range

Depending on the order, a vehicle from 1.5 t up to a 24 t combination is selected. We confirm specific availability once we receive the cargo parameters.

What to know before you enquire

• FRA has two cargo zones: CargoCity Nord and CargoCity Süd. The terminal and handler depend on the airline and the forwarder — please include them in your enquiry.
• Truck slots. Some handlers (including LUG and Frankfurt Cargo Services at CargoCity Süd) require a loading or pick-up slot to be booked in the Fair@Link system. We confirm slot rules with the handler before the vehicle is sent.
• Digital pick-up authorisation. In the Smart Pick-up pilot (from May 2025, according to DAKOSY), some handlers replace the paper authorisation with digital authorisation using a QR code. We confirm the procedure with the handler for each shipment.
