Carriage from Poland to Ukraine — step by step

Transport to Ukraine requires more arrangements than carriage within the European Union: the border crossing, customs documents, the consignee’s availability and route safety. That is why we plan each carriage individually and start from a complete set of information.

What we agree before the order

• the type of goods and their status (commercial, humanitarian aid, personal property);
• the sender, the consignee and a contact person on the Ukrainian side;
• documents: CMR consignment note, invoice or specification, documents required by the consignee and the customs authorities;
• the route, border crossing and unloading place;
• the time window and how we communicate during the journey.

Division of responsibility

The sender is responsible for the conformity of the goods and documents with customs regulations and for preparing the cargo. We are responsible for selecting the vehicle, organising the journey, the transport document and ongoing communication; customs clearance can be arranged with our partner customs agencies. We confirm the formal requirements for each specific carriage, because border procedures change.
